The process is the same for Windows XP, Windows Vista and Windows 7, XP just has one slight change in the process.
The steps are as follows:
- Click Start.
*XP ONLY* - Click Run
- Type RegEdit
-Select HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE.
-Select CurrentControlSet
-Select Control
-Select TerminalServer
-Select WinStations
-Select RDP-Tcp
-Scroll Down and find PortNumber
-Double Click on PortNumber
-Click on the "Decimal" Button.
-Enter a value from 3390 - 3399 (assuming there is more than one PC that has Remote Desktop Configured).
-Click Ok
-Close the Registry Editor.
You are done!
