The Volvo might be 'done' but done and done are two very different things, so it was time to do a bit of testing...
First up, boost. Until now it was running 20psi at the inlet manifold (25psi was at the compressor outlet via a very questionable boost gauge), but 30psi seems a better number for me, so...
Also I needed to see what the fueling was like and what other issues there may be.
Fuelling- Way too rich top end, no misfire thanks to the MSD CDI ignition, but it's gotta be losing power being that rich. I'll play with that soon.
Boost pipe- Well that fucked me right off, I'll fix that issue in the next few days.
Seems happy as larry at 30psi though, which is what I expected, so overall, good times.
PS- I really tried not to swear this time, but I'm sure, once you see what happened, it's understandable why I started...!
