This incredible Permaculture Farm shows how CHICKENS destroy pest cycles WHILE saving on feed costs. Tim Southwell of ABC Acres has figured out the life cycle of a fly and will rotate the chickens behind the cows just in time for the chickens to harvest the fly maggots. Chickens supplement their diet on maggots and the cows have MUCH less fly pressure. To encourage the chickens to scratch the cow pies, the farm manager just throws their grain right on top of the manure.
