Emine Erdoğan, the wife of President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, paid visits to İçerişehir, which is under the protection of UNESCO, as well as the Centre for Support to Family Treasure and DOST Centre for Inclusive Development and Creativity, which were put into operation with the support of TIKA.
Emine Erdoğan, who travelled to Azerbaijan with President Erdoğan, was accompanied by President Ilham Aliyev's wife Mihriban Aliyeva.
Firstly, Emine Erdoğan paid a visit to Icerisehir, which is under the protection of UNESCO, bears the traces of many different cultures and is known as the "historical core of Baku".
Here, she inspected the Centre for Support to the Family Treasure, which was put into operation with the support of TIKA, and received information from the authorities. After her inspections, Emine Erdoğan took a walk in the historical streets of İçerişehir.
Emine Erdoğan then visited the DOST Centre for Inclusive Development and Creativity, which was established on the initiative of Mihriban Aliyeva for the families of martyrs, disabled people, orphans, orphaned children and low-income people. Emine Erdoğan was informed about the centre by the officials.
