We came together with Kanto Records the first event of the “ShocK-ꓘulturel” project in Turkey. Accompanied by Ordinaire X’s live visuals we had a great night with Orçun Barni & Kamer Kaya, Yalnayak, talking rocks and Oceanvs Orientalis!

The night started with Orçun Barni and Kamer Kaya duo, continued with Yalnayak, talking rocks, and ended with the surprise performance of Oceanvs Orientalis, who took the stage in Istanbul for the first time in a long time. “Ordinaire X” accompanied the whole experience with its sound-sensitive visuals produced live throughout the night.

Questioning geography, religion and ethnic borders musically, the duo of Orçun Barni and Kamer Kaya reflects the themes of indecision and hanging on the borders of concepts such as life and death, hell and heaven in their compositions. The duo weaves Gregorian melodies, elements from Anatolian Sufism, teachings from Asian and European cultures with dirty guitars and keyboards, offering a hybrid perspective on electronics.
