This week I add some Roses and Castles hand painted slates to my Narrowboat Side hatches before cruising through Dutton Stop Lock and Preston brook tunnel, thus leaving the Trent and Mersey Canal and heading onto the Bridgewater Canal.
I make a brief stop at Midland Chandlers to purchase some much needed boaty bits, before finding a nice secluded mooring under trees just before the village of High Walton to help keep the boat cool.
