The optris Xi 80, Xi 400 and Xi 410 are small sized rugged devices with a diameter of 36 mm and a length of 90 mm (Xi 80) or 100 mm (Xi 400/ Xi 410). The sensors come with a resolution of up to 384 x 288 pixels with the option of 4 different optics. All models are equipped with a manual motor focus enabling remote focusing via the included license-free optris PIX Connect software. The integrated spot finder function enables accurate temperature measurements in moving objects without having to readjust the sensor. In addition there is a measuring spot to distance ratio of up to 390:1. In addition to a direct 0/4-20 mA analog output, the devices also offer users digital interfaces such as Ethernet or RS485. An external processing interface permits the further processing of up to 9 freely definable analog outputs, making it ideal for OEM applications. The software also allows to make a line scan through very small slits.
Furthermore, the Xi series convinces with its wide range of accessories, which enables the use under difficult operating conditions both indoors and outdoors.
This allows the Xi to be used for a wide range of applications.
