Stackblitz is an awesome web-based IDE that uses VSCode's Monaco engine under the hood, has a technology called Turbo that lets you install npm dependencies, and is an awesome way to get started developing with Angular fast.
You can also replace github.com with stackblitz.com/github on any Angular CLI repo on GitHub to enter a live editing and preview mode built entirely on top of that repo.
