A remarkable number of sustainable building materials and construction techniques have been incorporated into The Kendeda Building for Innovative Sustainable Design. The Kendeda Fund, in partnership with Southface Institute, created the SWARM Changemaker Award to recognize designers, builders, and tradespeople who brought regenerative building practices to life. Their innovations will shape the future of building in the Southeast and beyond.
Skanska was recognized as a SWARM Changemaker. As the project’s construction manager and general contractor, Skanska applied their long-term corporate commitment to sustainability to pull off regenerative design in the Southeast.
