How to Sell on Amazon: Does Amazon Owe You Money for Lost Inventory?
Step-By-Step Amazon Reimbursement for Lost Inventory Guide:
Step 1: From your Seller Central account, click "Help" (top right of your screen), then click "Get help and resources."
Step 2: Click "Inventory lost in FBA warehouse" and enter the FNSKU you want Amazon to investigate.
It takes Amazon a few seconds to find out whether they’ve lost your inventory. If they have, your Amazon balance in Seller Central will increase within days.
Note: Remember, the FNSKU is different from your SKU. The FNSKU is an Amazon-generated code that tracks your products in Amazon's warehouse, whereas the SKU is a code you generate to list products on Amazon and keep track of inventory.
