A unique documentary exhibit featuring photographs from the Civil Rights movement has made a stop at the Irving Arts Center. "This Light of Ours," presented by the Center for Documentary Expression and Art, tells the story of the Student Non-Violent Coordinating Committee and its organizing work in the rural south in the early 60’s. This exhibit offers visitors a remarkably intimate perspective on the place and times. Watch this story by Angela Lang for more good reasons to see these photographs in person.
