A well-known Palestinian journalist has been killed in the occupied West Bank town of Jenin.
Al Jazeera correspondent, Shireen Abu Aqla was reporting on an Israeli army raid when she was shot and died soon afterward. The broadcaster and the Palestinian Health Ministry blamed the Israeli military for her death.
But Israeli Prime Minister Naftali Bennett said she was likely killed by indiscriminate Palestinian gunfire during the raid. Another Palestinian journalist working for the Jerusalem-based Al-Quds newspaper was also injured but is in stable condition.
