Diploma in Tropical Medicine and Hygiene or D.T.M. & H. is one of international postgraduate educational programs for medical doctors offered by Faculty of Tropical Medicine, Mahidol University, Thailand. This program is a 6 month-course that produce graduates with a good level of knowledge of tropical health problems and diseases. Apart from lecture discussion and laboratories or practices, students have a chance to practice on field trips where they learn about healthcare system in Thailand as well as local farming techniques, lifestyles and culture. This program is certified by Thailand’s Office of Higher Education Commission as “The Best Practice International Exchange Program.”
