A blonde girl named Goldilocks was lost in the woods and found a small house.
There were three chairs in the living room and three bowls of soup in the kitchen.
Goldilocks found three beds in a bedroom and fell asleep.
Then, the owners of the small house came back.

A little girl was wandering
in the forest.
She had golden hair.
Her name was Goldilocks.

Goldilocks hesitated for a while.
But she went inside the house

Goldilocks looked around the house.
She found three chairs.

Goldilocks sat on a very tiny chair
and crackle!
The chair broke.

But she decided to follow
the delicious smell to the kitchen.

There are three soups
in the kitchen.
Should I eat or not?

The biggest bowl is,

“Also hot!”
The tiny bowl is good for me!
What a yummy soup for me!
It was the best soup ever!
Goldilocks was so happy.
“Oh, I couldn’t help it!”
Then Goldilocks went
inside a bedroom.
There are three beds
in the bedroom.
Which bed should I lie on?
The biggest bed is,
“Too big!”
The medium bed is,
“Also too big!”
The tiny bed is,
“Good for me!”
It’s a perfect size for me.

Goldilocks lay on the smallest bed,
and she fell asleep.
Meanwhile,
the owners of the small house
who went for a walk came back.
They were Papa Bear,
Mama Bear,
and Baby Bear.
The Papa Bear said,

on my chair.
All of our chairs are moved.

“Somebody broke my chair!”

The three bears went to the kitchen.
Somebody spilled some soup here.
Somebody ate our soup.

“Outside!”
“Living room!”
“Kitchen!”
“No one’s here!”
Nobody knows.

The three bears went
inside a bedroom.
“Huh? Who lay on my bed?
My bed is messy!”
“Oh! My bed is messy, too!”
The Baby Bear shouted.
“Somebody’s sleeping on my bed!”
“What?”
The three bears
looked at Goldilocks.
She was sleeping peacefully.
When Goldilocks woke up,
she screamed
because three bears were
looking at her.
Goldilocks ran away like an arrow.
The Papa Bear was surprised.
But soon he smiled and said,
She sure can scream.
And she sure can run fast.
Maybe she must have been
a friendly guest.
The bear family wished the guest
to visit again someday.
