Naqsh-e Rostam, Shiraz, Iran | Ancient Persian Tombs
Naqsh-e Rustam is an ancient necropolis 12 km northwest of Persepolis. A UNESCO World Heritage Site that stuns everyone at first glance. At Pasargadae, the colossal tombs were cut directly into mountain faces and are visible from a considerable distance. An inscription by Darius I appears in the top left corner of the facade of his mausoleum. You can embrace the glory of ancient Persia at Naqsh-e Rostam.
