"Seven Sonatas", a ballet by Alexei Ratmansky to the music by Domenico Scarlatti was premiered in the Mariinsky last season. Prior to the new performance of it in October, we recall the difficult and interesting rehearsal process.

"Seven Sonatas", along with two other ballets by Alexei Ratmansky — "Pierrot Lunaire" and "Concerto DSCH" — wil be performed on October, 12 and 26, at the Historic stage of the Mariinsky Theatre:
