It's FINALLY here! The Panasonic S 35mm 1.8 has finally landed and completes the 1.8 prime set from Panasonic.

I have been very fortunate to get hands on with this lens over the last couple weeks to test it out, and I have to say - it doesn't disappoint at all.

The 35mm 1.8 is the 4th and final lens to come out in the quartet, coming shortly after the 24mm 1.8 that Panasonic released not too long ago.

Of course, the Lumix S 35mm 1.8 shares the same form factor and build characteristics as the previously announced 85,50 and 24mm lenses.

Being a 35mm lens as well, it makes it a great fit for a wide variety of applications since 35mm on a full frame camera allows you to have a middle ground between 24 and 50mm, making it great for both wider establishing shots, and closer detailed shots too.
