If you're considering the purchase of a used Mac, you need to be looking for a few signs that it is in good condition and under warranty. If you're ready to purchase your used Mac, here are some of the things you should look out for. First of all, the best thing to do when buying a used Mac from Craigslist, eBay, or Amazon is to check the generation of the Mac and check for common problems with that generation.

The next tip you should consider when purchasing a used Mac from ebay, Amazon, or Craigslist is to check the specs. To check the specs of a used Mac that you're looking to purchase, go to the Apple Logo () in the menu bar, and click "About This Mac." This is going to give you a list of all of the specs of the used Mac that you're looking to purchase.

Tip number 3 for purchasing a used Mac with our Buyer's Guide is to check for physical damage on the Mac. Is the keyboard working correctly on the used Mac? Is the trackpad on a used MacBook working correctly? These are things you must consider when purchasing your used Mac.
