The 2009 stock is the latest Tube stock (as opposed to Subsurface stock) in London Underground as of 2014, manufactured by Bombardier Transportation. The Victoria Line is the earliest line to run on Automated Train Operation (ATO), allowing high-frequency operations during peak hours.
