Joydeep joined Oxford Analytica in July 2017. He is a Senior Analyst covering South and South-east Asia.
Joydeep completed doctoral research and postdoctoral work on historical and contemporary South Asia at the University of Warwick, the University of Kent and the University of Manchester, during which time he taught students at undergraduate and postgraduate level. He has also worked as a political risk analyst on a freelance basis, and was a researcher and consultant for several international relations and development studies projects relating to South Asia.
