The Police on Monday stopped Forum for the Democratic Change party president, Mr Patrick Oboi Amuriat and other opposition leaders from heading to Kasese District, where they had scheduled a two-day engagement with district leaders.
According to the police public relations officer for Rwenzori east, Mr Vincent Twesige, Amuriat and his delegation were blocked at Kikonzo-Hima town council on their way to Kasese town and advised to return to Kampala until their programme was officially cleared by the Inspector General of Police
