Following the major announcement to transform the intelligence system in the country with a view to improving the quality of work within the security cluster, the President appointed Ms Gladys Sonto Kudjoe as the new Director General of State Security Agency, the first women to head this powerful intelligence agency. State Security Agency is one of the critical Agencies in creating a safer and secure South Africa. She will oversee the finalisation of the National Security Strategy including the Cyber Security Policy. Sonto Kudjoe joins us from our Hatfiled studios in Pretoria.
