Although there is nothing in the Bible about automobiles or auto repairs (because they didn't exist in biblical times), we can find a hint about the need to have things repaired when needed.
A king by the name of Josiah declared that it was necessary to make repairs to the temple, as it had been neglected:
"Have them entrust it to the men appointed to supervise the work on the temple. And have these men pay the workers who repair the temple of the Lord— 6 the carpenters, the builders and the masons. Also have them purchase timber and dressed stone to repair the temple" (2 Kings 22.5-6, NIV).
What this means for you and me is that we need to pay attention to our car and take care of it, including routine maintenance and needed repairs.
