How to test for a DNS Leak? This video will show you how to quickly and easily test your connection to make sure your DNS requests are secure.

Hey, how's it going, everybody? Welcome back. So today I wanted to quickly show you guys how you can test for a DNS leak. Now it's very simple. All you need to do is pick your VPN or whatever VPN you're using and just connect to a VPN, preferably a good VPN, I do have these recommended Express Nord and surfac, because they're the best overall, I've tested over a couple of dozen VPNs. And I've narrowed it down to these three as the best. They all vary in budgets and features. So you can pick and choose depending on your specific preferences and situation and your own budget. Of course, now, as you can tell, right here, on my IP finder, it should change to France. So now that it's changed the France, I can go to just DNS leak test, and just look that up DNS leak test.com. And you can go for either the standard test or the extended test. Now the standard test will be very quick, I would definitely recommend that you check the extended test in case it finds anything. Now as you can tell, there are no leaks specifically because I'm not seeing anything that links to my real location. So let's go back and go for the extended test. Now this may take a little bit of time. But basically, if I get any results that basically indicate a location that is not France, well, that means there is a DNS leak. And that's pretty much how you can test your DNS for leaks. Now, of course, I'm using a VPN because I don't want to show my real location. But if I go ahead and turn off the VPN, and test for a DNS leak, my relocation will show up. But of course, I'm using a VPN so that my data and traffic is all protected. And there are zero leaks when I'm connected to a VPN. So that's why I'm going to use a VPN here to protect and encrypt my data totally with zero ipv6 or DNS leaks.
