Sacramento police are responding to more commercial burglary calls due to the novel coronavirus outbreak and the resulting stay-at-home orders. Police dispatch procedures have now changed. Officers are now immediately responding to alarms from commercial businesses. The department’s mental health unit said officers are also getting more calls about domestic violence.
