The great thing about mics like this is their simplicity. It literally is a case of just plug it in, select the new input device and record to whichever application you want. Not only do they have a low price, but they also sound pretty good. The audio can be a little thin when compared to a microphone ten times the price but, unless you're listening on decent headphones or speakers, you're probably not going to notice that much difference. This makes them perfect for people starting out in recording vocals or producing videos.
