This video is the First Half of an hour-long webinar presented by Mark Scott of ESRI. The webinar shut down for unknown reasons in the middle, so the second half is a separate video labeled Part 2! Collector for ArcGIS is an app running on iOS or Android devices, that allows you to collect data in the field, and submit it via a portal to ArcGIS for Server or ArcGIS Online. In this web seminar, the instructor will review ArcGIS Online Organizations, review the important steps in designing a geodatabase and a feature service for field editing. Then, the use of Collector in both online and offline modes will be demonstrated. The results will be examined in an Operations Dashboard. Navigator will be demonstrated to show support for offline navigation between collection sites. If time is available, we will discuss soon-to-be-released apps, like Workforce for ArcGIS.
