The XB32 is a year removed from the rules of the XB31 was this a necessary upgrade? This question is not answered immediately upon using this speaker. It has all the same features! Moving the lights does not impress me, adding an app to control the light. It's gimmicky, but the bass is a bit deeper. The highs are not as focused but it is still room filling. If you have to choose for the money might as well go with the 32 but the 31 is still a terrific speaker. Should you upgrade? I think this is a skip worthy speaker if you already have the 31.
