Lugaw is the Filipino term for porridge made with glutinous rice and comes with many different variations. It is also considered as one of the comfort foods for Filipino. Typically eaten during breakfast but is widely consumed also as afternoon snack or even lunch and diner.
LUGAW | Paano gumawa ng Plain Lugaw | Kitchen Time with Anna
Ingredients are:
3 cloves of garlic finely chopped
1 small size onion finely chopped
1 tbsp sliced ginger
1 chicken cubes
1 tsp kasubha
1/2 tsp fine pepper
1 tbsp fish sauce
1 cup glutinous rice flour
9 cups of water
for the toppings:
Toasted garlic
Eggs
Onion leaves
