Due to KMs Ability
At the start of the fight, Vibranium Armor provides X Armor Rating and Killmonger gains 15% of his missing Power each time a Debuff is inflicted against him. Vibranium Armor is disabled if he is suffering from an Armor Break effect.

When using the Leader the Strat is to intercept to stack one of your random Debuffs, then Get to your SP2 to to apply your withers with each hit and apply the power dissolve you’ll see complete Control of Killmonger causing him to not be able to gain power and also Lose health!
