Documentary about the Mariner 6 & 7 Mars missions, with focus on the science teams. The original footage had very faded color, so it was impossible to restore the full color spectrum, with green being almost completely absent.
Given this limitations restoration focused on achieving balanced skin tones and more neutral whites.

Original description: The 1969 Mariner 6 and 7 flybys of the planet Mars are seen through a candid observation of the scientists involved at the moment of their discoveries. New knowledge of Mars, including detailed photographs of its craters and plains, is included.
