In a massive blow to commercial service riders, the National capital, Delhi transport department states the ban on commercial bikes, taxis and will be in force immediately. The government notice indicates that if commercial service providers like Ola, Uber, and others continue to provide bike and taxi service operations in Delhi, then a fine will be imposed on them. A penalty of Rs 5000 to Rs 1 lakh will be imposed. The AAP-led government reveals that using private vehicles as commercial taxis violates the Motor Vehicle Act, of 1988. Listen in for more!
