Israel video tour with David Hyman, professional tour guide. It's no secret that Shiri and I love Eilat and we visit at least once a year. The combination of warm desert weather and the most beautiful ocean in the world is unbeatable. Our video offers a few ideas of things to do in Eilat, and our favorite beaches with the advantages of each of them. We will also take you to the historic site of Umm RasRash to see the famous monument of the "Ink Flag". Before Israel, there was nothing on the west shore of Eilat, just a few mudbrick buildings. David Ben Gurion knew that the Red Sea was key to secure the complete Negev region. Two military units were sent to the Red Sea along two different routes. They arrived together on the last day of the war of independence, March 1949. When they arrived they realized that they didn't have an Israel flag, so they improved one using a sheet and ink.
Eilat beaches are diverse and you can find one that suits your needs and your liking. Our first choice is the Almog (Coral) beach nature reserve as our preference when choosing a beach is the quality of the reef and fish while snorkeling. Our second choice is Dekel Beach because of the peaceful vibe and friendly atmosphere alongside great swimming.
We also took some footage at our favorite restaurant, called the Barbeach, we usually have an early dinner on the deck overlooking the sunset. Magical
