Cleaning up the factory bottle jack in the 4Runner.
After decades of use, the OEM bottle jack was showing it's age. Cleaned and wire brushed the exterior along with adding some fresh grease inside before painting. Added some bed liner spray to the base and top of the ram as well as to the bracket for added durability.

It appears that similar retainers were used on at least 1st - 3rd generation 4Runner (Surf), likely the similar vintage Pickup (Hilux) and at least the 1st generation Tacoma pickup models.
