STORYLINE
A group of about 200 women took to the streets in Burundi on Sunday to protest against President Pierre Nkurunziza's bid for a third term in office.
In a peaceful display, the group sang and danced in the middle of a main road in the capital Bujumbura, as police blocked the women from entering parts of the city.
At least 13 people have died and 216 have been wounded in protests since 25 April when the ruling party announced it had nominated Nkurunziza as its presidential candidate.
Chadia Nshime, who was among the peaceful demonstrators on Sunday, said she was protesting because she wanted the constitution of the country to be respected.
The US and African Union have said Nkurunziza should not seek a third term.
Burundi's constitution only allows for two five-year terms of service for the president.
Civil society and opposition groups asked demonstrators to take a break on Saturday from the nearly two weeks of protests.
