My family from Vegas came to visit us at Vandenberg Space Force Base, I knew that I wanted to make the most of our time together. I decided to take them to pick some berries at U-pick Blueberries in Santa Maria, California, as I had heard great things about the experience there. As soon as we arrived at the blueberry farm, I could see the excitement in my family's eyes. The rows of lush blueberry bushes stretched out in front of us, with berries glistening in the sunlight. We were provided with buckets and shown how to pick the ripest and juiciest berries. It was such a joy to see my family eagerly plucking the berries and tasting them right off the bush.
The experience of picking fresh, organic berries with my family was truly special. We laughed and chatted as we searched for the best berries, creating sweet memories that will stay with us for a long time. There is something magical about being out in nature, surrounded by loved ones, and sharing the simple pleasure of picking fruit together. #vandenberg
