This video was recorded for a lecture series entitled "Lim Loh Family: The Journey Home‘’. This episode introduces the ancestral place of Lim Loh Family, the genealogy of Houpu Lim, as well as the houses built by Lim Loh in Houpu Village. The building of these houses shows the mutual cultural exchanges between Singapore and China. The conservation of overseas Chinese houses is not just for keeping the family roots, but also to commemorate the forefathers' tremendous contributions to Singapore and China.
