Two days on the South Rim of Grand Canyon. Our favorite spot to watch the sunrise and sunset is Mather Point, close to the Visitor Center. We got up at 5:00am for sunrise, worth the early start, once in a lifetime experience. The best way to pack it all in is to do the Hermits Rest Route. Catch the FREE (Redline) shuttle bus, starting at the Village next to Bright Angel Trailhead. The route runs along western part of South Rim. There are nine overlook stops along the way. You can walk between the stops or hike the entire 7-mile trail. Bring lunch and water, lots of opportunity to stop and have a picnic right on the rim of the canyon and take it all in. #laotraveler #grandcanyon #hermitsrest #matherpoint
