In an incident, a group of tourists from Mumbai have allegedly been beaten by employees of a shack situated at Calangute beach. One of the victims is reportedly critical.

Calangute police have arrested 5 persons in the matter and have also booked the shack owner.  As per the complaint, the altercation allegedly stemmed from a petty issue.

Earlier this week a 28-year-old tourist from AP had died, allegedly after he and his friends were assaulted at Calangute beach shack over a petty matter.
