Remember when you were a child and you looked forward to having school cancelled in order to go out and play in the snow?

Seattle just received the recent North Western Snowstorm that just hit during the Valentines day weekend in 2021.

Seattle does receive its occasional snow, BUT not to this extent! Over the last couple of days, we received 2 - 3 ft of snow in the greater metropolitan area and as a result, everyone remembered what it was like to be a kid again.

Many people coming out with their families, enjoying the beautiful winter snow, and best of all... Foraging whatever material you had at home in order to take advantage of the streets of Seattle to go sledding!

In this video, we explore what the city of Seattle looks like when its dozed and covered in white crystal snow!

A couple of things...

Snow is beautiful, but be careful driving in the snow. Seattle is generally NOT snow friendly and as a result, many of the drivers have been left stuck in some of the ditches and roads as a result of how steep the roads can be.

If you do not feel comfortable driving in the snow, just stay home and enjoy the snow from within your immediate walking vicinity, otherwise put some snow-chains on and get out there and explore!
