The Belle Epoque is a period of Western History between the end of the Franco-Prussian war and the beginning of the First World War. It is also known as the 'Beautiful Age'. One of the composers who held centre-stage during this period is Rodolph Berger.
Rodolphe Berger, born in Vienna on 4 April 1864 and died in Barcelona on 18 July 1916 , is an Austrian composer of the Belle Époque . He wrote largely piano waltzes. His most popular piece is probably Amoureuse (In Love). This waltz is in ABA structure.
