Chana Delhi (MP line) traded lower by 1.01% at Rs. 4913/quintal over the previous day.
Crop harvest is progressing well and around 46% of the chana area is harvested.
Chana procurement in India reached 1.8 Lakh MT
Chana imports from Apr-21 to Feb-22 is around 1.97 lakh MT, lower by 32% y-o-y
2. Tur
Tur prices in Akola traded marginally lower by 0.2% at Rs. 6638/quintal
Tur prices traded in the range of Rs. 6638 to 6750/ quintal in the last one week.
Tur imports in February are estimated at 1.03 lakh MT, higher by 3.4% from last month.
Tur imports from Apr-21 to Feb-22 is around 7.95 lakh MT,
higher by 81% y-o-y.
3. Masoor
Masoor prices in Indore traded flat at Rs. 6400/quintal from the previous day
Masoor prices traded in the range of Rs. 6200 to 6400/quintal in the previous one week.
Masoor harvest reached around 44% of the total area.
Masoor imports in February are estimated at 58 KMT, higher by 46% from last month.
Masoor imports from Apr-21 to Feb-22 is around 6.48 lakh MT, lower by 41% y-o-y.
4. Price Outlook
Chana prices in Delhi would trade sideways to down as long as trading below TRP – 5150.
Tur prices would trade bullish and may touch Rs. 7000/Qtl in the coming days.
Masoor prices would trade sideways to down in the coming days as harvest is progressing well and new arrivals would pick pace.
