Tonight: Becoming mostly clear overnight into Tuesday morning. Expect low temperatures in the low to mid-70s. A slight for showers in the mountains during the overnight hours. A low to medium flood threat for the mountains as well western North Carolina through tomorrow.
Tomorrow: More sunshine than a cloud on Tuesday along with hotter temperatures. The 90s are back on Tuesday after a brief cool down. Monday's high of 85º occurred after 17 consecutive days of daytime highs at 90º and above.
Rain chances will continue again tomorrow. Our best chances for rain will be during the afternoon. Overall, expect a small window for showers, and the chances are isolated.
