The oak growing in the forest of Širvintas in the district of Lazdijai was named after its distinctive appearance. The mighty oak easily distinguishable from any other trees is called the Great Oak of Širvintas. Its height is even 31 meters. The extent of its trunk reaches 5 meters. The oak with its widely spread branches already counts 400 years.
