This is a rare interview of Satyajit Ray in BANGLA from the archive of Akashvani Kolkata taken by Dr. Amit Chakraborti and Sankarsan Ray in the year 1982. Here he is talking about the impact of science fiction in his life & film making. He is speaking about his creation of Professor Shonku, Feluda, Bonku babur bondhu. Apart from that he is explaining his view point on Hollywood film like 2001:Space odyssey by Stanley Kubrick.
Satyajit also spoke about his bitter experince in Hollywood for his film Alien and how the story line was copied. He narrated the whole story of his Alien script.
To make the video more interesting I have added some rare clippings of the maestro in action [For Example: 1965 Delhi Film Festival, 1963 Berlin Golden Awards etc].
