Vivek Oberoi made a terrific and unconventional entry in Bollywood in 2002 with Company and Saathiya, but what followed was a tumultuous journey in the industry for him that was marred with controversies and troubles. But the actor always rose above them and in this first episode of Memory Lane, Vivek opens up on the initial years of his career and the difficult times that followed. He spoke about the expectations that came with his successful debut, being Suresh Oberoi’s son, the phase where he had no work and the trouble that came with being vocal about his opinions and relationship with ex Aishwarya Rai Bachchan. He also discussed his stint on OTT, recent show Dharavi Bank and made a shocking confession of having dark thoughts once in his life which made him relate to Sushant Singh Rajput and how wife Priyanka Oberoi helped him through that. He highlighted the importance of media and how it has changed since his debut.
