All parts are made from 3/4" Birch laminated plywood. The pins are just pieces of 1/4" steel rod that were polished on the lathe. Inside each gear is a piece of PVC pipe that reduces friction on the axle. The PVC was drilled for a 1/4" inside diameter to accept the axle. Each gear rests on a Nylon washer. I may do a simple vid in the future on the technique that I used to create the gears. Thanks, and enjoy.
