(23 Apr 1994) About 1,000 multi-national United Nations troops were preparing
for deployment in Gorazde, on Saturday (23/4), in the wake of a
NATO ultimatum to the Bosnian Serbs. The U.N. said the convoy
could leave Sarajevo at midnight local time on Sunday in an effort
to halt the onslaught in the eastern Muslim enclave.
