The Enforcement Directorate (ED) arrested another TMC leader Santanu Banerjee in connection with the West Bengal teachers’ recruitment scam. The ED had summoned him to their office on Friday, March 10 for questioning until his arrest. The agency claimed that there were discrepancies in Santanu Banerjee’s statements and he was arrested on ground of non-cooperation with the investigation. The ED had also previously conducted search operations at his residence and recovered evidences of the recruitment scam. As per the ED, Kuntal Ghosh was closely connected to Banerjee. TMC’s youth leader Kuntal Ghosh was arrested on January 21 in connection with the same case. Watch Aaj Bikel news to know in details.
