Rescue crews were forced to suspend their search for survivors of a deadly mine accident in southern Colombia.
That's because darkness and bad weather made the open pit mine unsafe.
At least 21 people were killed in a landslide that was triggered by local residents looking for gold.
And two dozen others were hurt, seven of those injured are in serious condition.
Many of them appeared to have little experience in tunneling or mining.
Its unclear how many people are missing.
But there were reports about 50 people may have been in the mine at the time of the landslide.
Local officials say the mine was closed, but people went in despite being warned it was dangerous.
Colombia is home to many makeshift mines, especially in areas where gold and emeralds have been found.
But there's little government oversight... So mining accidents are common in the Andean country.
